Readerships in UK media

Readerships are affecting advertising. In UK, Readerships are very important points in the media industry. Readers are categorised into six levels that principle can be applied to any media organisation: radio, television station or website. They help Media Company and advertising to clearly analyze media marketing.
Readerships have six levels
• Grade A: Upper Professional
• Grade B: Lower Professional
• Grade C1: Routine Clerical
• Grade C2: Skilled Manual
• Grade D: Unskilled Manual
• Grade E: Economically Inactive
Building readerships is a success story in media industry. Why? Building community means readers and products have exchange. They are going together. In old media, between readers and products (newspaper) have a wall in their median. They did not exchange ideas, and media companies did not understand what is the reader want? Over the 10 years old, media companies face challenge form multimedia. More and more new media are going to our life with the multimedia skills improve. Building community that is main point in the new media, as well as blogers, and YouTube. New media and readers are building community that is not good news to tradition media. Because audiences for traditional media have fragmented, more and more people to change reading new media. Readership is one main point affecting advertising. Old media try to building community. Reader and media companies are working together. If speaking building community, target reader is main question in media. People are readers. Well it helps visualise them as a real person so that staff (editors and journalists) always have a clear image in their minds about their reader.
